We’ve been installing air-conditioners in homes, offices and all kinds of commercial properties for many years now, and we’ll make
sure you get the right advice, for the right system, at the right price too.
The first air-conditioning system was created 120 years ago, and while the technology has made leaps and bounds since then, the concept of heat transference remains firmly in the centre of all the systems you’ll find on the market today.
Before we begin your air-conditioning installation, however, we’ll talk you through all the different kinds of air-conditioning, and make sure you get best option for your needs.
Almost every system is reverse cycle these days, and it’s an extremely efficient way of heating or cooling air. In essence, they absorb air from a fan located outside your building, and then cool it with refrigerant gas before circulating it round your home to make it more comfortable. Or they do the same in reverse, to heat.
If you have a range of different rooms that all need to be regulated, then a ducted air-conditioning system may be just what you’re looking for. These types of systems come with an outdoor unit to absorb the air, combined with a central indoor system, often in the roof space. The central system powers the air through a range of ducts, and the air is delivered to the relevant room through ceiling, or floor vents.
If you think this might be the way to go, just let us know. We’ll discuss your requirements, and determine the best, most efficient system for the layout of your building.
Very similar to reverse cycle air conditioning, as they have an external unit connected to an internal unit and they’ll cool the air with refrigerant. The only difference is that you can’t reverse the process to heat the room, so if you’re OK with that, this may be a viable option.
Split system air conditioning will generally only condition one room, however multi-split systems may cover two or three. Once again, let us know what level of comfort you’d like to achieve, and we’ll advise accordingly.
This type of air-conditioning system gives you the most amount of flexibility possible, by combining an outdoor unit with as many as ten indoor units, allowing you to regulate each room on its own.
Previously only used in commercial air-conditioning situations, they’re often used in larger houses now too. You can also select from a variety of indoor units to suit the room, everything from concealed bulkheads to floor and wall mounted units.
You wouldn’t think twice about taking your car in for a service, and your air-conditioning is just the same. Regular, professional air-conditioning maintenance and cleaning will keep your air-conditioning running smoothly, effectively, and prevent costly repairs when you least expect them.
If you’ve already got an air-conditioning system, but haven’t had it serviced in a while just let us know, and we’ll help you out. Or if we’re installing a new system for you, we’ll discuss a maintenance program with you then.
Accidents do happen, of course, so if your air-conditioning breaks down for some reason, just give us a call and we’ll be happy to help out. All we need to know is the brand, make and model, and we’ll take it from there.
